2 Main Reasons for your reading inefficiency- it's not your mistake

There are two reasons for the existence of reading inefficiency in an average human being:

Firstly, the way he/she was taught to read at school

Secondly,Partial Coverage about Eye and its relation to normal or speed reading.

In Schools, every girl or a guy who bores out is taught using either of the two methods,

1)      Phonic Method

2)      Look-and-Say Method

In Phonic Method, firstly all alphabets are introduced then their corresponding sounds. and then the words are pronounced correctly where cat is pronounced as ‘’ kuh-auh-tuh” at first and then is moulded into the correct form by teacher.

In Look-and-Say Method, a picture of an animal with its name is drawn on a paper chart. Teacher asks the student to answer out loud, the animal he is seeing. Over time, the images are deleted and only words remain in front of the child in the form of boring text books.
And the child is forced to read silently and we all adults read like this. We all read silently. We subvocalize and if you were to read silently and also if you were to hear each word consciously while reading then the maximum speed you can achieve in your life to read is 300-400 wpm because this is the maximum we can speak words out.To easily increase your reading speed now-Consider-Rapid Reading

Secondly, many of us know the structure of the eye and many of us know there are lot many blind people out there for the cornea transplant but what if you were to ask yourself the way your eye moves while you read? I told you in the article-" How to read faster?-Speed reading-The long reliable way,"- that most of us think that we read line by line in a continuous fashion. But the real movement is-our eyes like to move in jumps. It takes few words in and then it stops to make sense of those words and then again it reads three or four words and then it stops and the process continues.

After teaching the basic methods of reading, no further instructions are given on the subject. It is like, once the baby has learnt to crawl, the process of locomotion is expected to be complete already! Yet the worlds of walking, running and dancing with a smiling face have all been left unexplored.
The same goes for reading, we all have been left stranded on the floor, now it’s time to walk, run and dance! So the next post teaches you about the reading process. Once this reading process is read and learnt, I suggest you memorize it and as you do that, most of your reading problems would perhaps become the things of the past.
